For several years in the late '90s, Stuart Eizenstat had been deeply involved in what he calls "the unfinished business of the twentieth century." For him that business was accounting for the astonishing array of assets looted by the Nazis, and securing some long-delayed justice for Holocaust survivors and victims’ families.
