In the mid-2000s the music industry was upended by the advent of downloading music. In the last decade, that business has streamlined and remodeled itself in response and is now profitable once more. Streaming services and premium cable are the film and television industries’ s equivalent of downloads. This panel will examine the effect this disruption is currently having on the entertainment business and its impact upon it in the near future.
