Registration

Q: Who is invited to attend HLS in the Community?
A: HLS in the Community is open to all HLS alumni, students, and staff.

Q: When is registration?
A: Registration is open. Early bird registration is available from January 10–February 19 and is the most cost effective way to register. After February 19, registration will remain open with traditional costs attached.

Pricing

Q: How much does it cost to attend?
A: Prices vary according to attendee. Costs are as follows:

Early bird – through February 19
Alumni/Alumni Guest – $75.00
Young Alumni/Guest (classes 2012 – 2017) – $50.00
Alumni/Guest who work in public interest – $50.00
After February 19
Alumni/Guest – $100.00
Young Alumni/Guest (classes 2012 – 2017) – $75.00
Alumni/Guest who work in public interest – $75.00

Cancellations and Refunds

Q: What are the cancellation and refund policies?
A: All fees are fully refundable until April 13, 2018. After April 13, 2018 we are unable to offer a refund.

Hotels and Transportation

Q: Are there available hotels for the event?
A: The following hotels have room blocks for HLS in the Community, April 19–20, 2018:

Additional hotels may be found on the Harvard Travel website.
Please note: There will be no scheduled transportation for hotels other than the Charles and Freepoint.

Q: Are there accommodations for alumni who are attending a reunion?
A: If you are attending your Harvard Law School Reunion-Classes of 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, and 2013-your host hotels will be found on the HLS Reunion website.

Q: Is there a shuttle service available?
A: Shuttles will be available from the Charles and Freepoint Hotels to and from HLS. Shuttle schedules will be posted closer to the event and available at host hotel check-in.

Q: Will taxis be available?
A: Taxi services should pick up/drop off in Lewis Circle, 1545 Massachusetts Avenue. For accessibility needs, please contact Accessible Cambridge Taxi Program at 1-888-872-6721.

Campus information

Q: Can I connect to the internet while on campus?
A: Wireless access is available on campus. We have charging stations for devices in Haas Lounge, WCC.
Q: Where can I find medical assistance?
A: Medical assistance is available at the Harvard Law School Clinic and After Hours Urgent Care, located in the basement of Pound Hall.

    Q: Where are restrooms located on campus?
    A: Restrooms are located on each floor of the WCC.
    Additional restrooms are available in Pound Hall, Hauser Hall, Austin Hall, and Langdell Hall.

Week of Service

Q: What is the HLS in the Community Staff & Faculty Week of Service?
A: The Staff & Faculty Week of Service is an opportunity for HLS staff and faculty to participate in a service project at a community organization during the week of March 12 – 16. Please visit the event page for more information.
