Be inspired by the students and teachers who are advancing justice through our clinics and research programs. Learn about the many ways HLS contributes to communities locally and around the world. See what’s next. Share ideas with the teams doing pathbreaking work. Ask: “How can Harvard Law School have the biggest impact? How will I contribute?”
HLS in the Community will explore the school’s local and global contributions of service with problem-solving hackathons, faculty-led sessions, and presentations from HLS clinics and programs. Sessions will focus on criminal justice reform, international human rights advocacy, small business and entrepreneur support, and more. HLS faculty and staff are also invited to participate in the HLS in the Community Week of Service. For more information on HLS in the Community and answers to commonly asked questions, please read through the FAQ.

Around the world, Harvard Law School alumni, students, faculty, and staff are using their talents to transform communities. The HLS Pro-Bono Globe will offer a snapshot of the HLS community’s pro-bono and service work. We are asking members of the HLS community to contribute examples of their volunteer, community service, pro-bono, or public interest legal work. Once live, clicking on any of the red markers around the globe will reveal details about an individual and their work. Submit your work to the HLS Pro-Bono Globe now!
