Hosted by Jeannie Suk Gersen ’02 and moderated by Roy Furman ’63, this panel will discuss a lawyer’s role in the theatrical business, how a lawyer migrated to become a producer, what producers do and don’t do, and how musicals get created–by Harvard graduates. They will take a look at the changing economics of Broadway producing and investing, as well as what a sensible approach to investing in theater looks like. Finally, they will also dish on current trends in theater and what shows to anticipate on Broadway.
